The 99% Spring has begun. Earlier this month, tens of thousands of us gathered in union halls, places of
worship, in homes and on campuses to train ourselves in non-violent action and join together in the work of reclaiming our country.
At the CWA headquarters training, CWA President Larry Cohen choked back tears as he described T-Mobile's recent decision to close seven call centers and lay off 3,300 workers. "I'm tired, I'm angry, I'm distressed from seeing how hard our members fight these battles only to go backwards," he said. "The only way we can fight this is together."
You can still take part in this powerful training - online. Just like the in-person trainings, the online training has all you need to get ready to take the country back from the 99% -- including modules on: What Happened to Our Economy?, Intro to Non-Violent Direct Action, and Planning for Action.

You will be at your computer, but you won't be alone. Chat with trainers and others doing the training online as you go, see your progress, and recruit your friends.
The training is just the beginning. In the coming weeks, we'll be engaging in a massive wave of actions to hold the 1% accountable – including a massive action on May 3, the day of the Verizon shareholder meeting.
You are a critical part of this historic effort. We look forward to seeing you -- online and offline -- as we take back the country for the 99%.
