It's been happening all year: Working families are fed up with the corruption and greed of the 1% -- and we're fighting back.
Years from now, 2011 will be seen as the moment when the 99% said, "Enough is enough," when working families rose up in defense of our rights and took back our country.
But to do so, we must remain as united as ever. CWA is hosting a Union Hall Call on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 PM EST, to update our activists on the latest developments in the fight to protect workers' rights, including the fight for fair contracts at Verizon and Verizon Wireless.
We'll also give you a chance to share your choice for President, to provide input to the Executive Board as we weigh an endorsement of one of the candidates.
Click here to sign up now to join the call on Thursday, December 15 at 7:30 PM EST.
From the massive protests earlier this year in Wisconsin, Ohio, New Jersey and many other states, to the growing Occupy movements in every corner of the country, 2011 has seen working families take a united stand against the billionaires, corporate executives, and right-wing politicians who continue to attack our rights.
Now we must keep gaining momentum and strengthening our movement for 2012. Join the CWA Union Hall Call on December 15 and learn what you can do to support our fight:
